- Revivals
|
What days of the week does a Revival cover? Revivals traditionally have been held in a variety of ways, some coving up to two weeks at any given church. Over the past 12 years of traveling and holding these types of meets, we have found the Sunday morning through Wednesday evening format to be the most productive. We have found that if the church can hear and be apart of the service on Sunday morning and experience the significance of what is taking place, then more often than not, those individuals will come back for at least some part of the week.
Would a Revival work for my modern contemporary church? I believe it can... The younger generation is open to Truth and the moving of Jesus Christ. If the preparation and promotion are done correctly and your church is well informed, than the week of revival can be a great success for your church |
What
is a Revival? The tradition
revival has been around for longer than anyone
alive in the church today. Although times are
quickly changing and though many ways of doing
things in the past have become unproductive, the
revival format can still be extremely
effective. With the right promotion and
preparation, the revival can be a phenomenal
tool in the Spiritual life of a Christian and
that Christian’s participation in the Body of
Christ.
