Genell M. Knisley is a member of the JBM team.  An elder in the Church of the Nazarene, Genell is dedicated to prayer and shining for Jesus.  There are many seasons in life.  For Genell theses include, wife, mother, grandmother, teacher,  worship leader, discipleship pastor, writer,  and lead pastor.  The Lord has called her to this season of writing focused on the life of Jesus, the Truths of Scripture, the discipleship of believers, and growth in relationship with Jesus!
 
For The Joy is a daily devotional journey which leads through the 40 days of the seasons of Advent and Christmas. It begins with the 1st Sunday in Advent, and includes weekly Advent Candle devotions, The Twelve Days of Christmas, and ends with the Day of Epiphany!  There are many hand painted illustrations which touch the heart. The paintings for the Twelve Days of Christmas were birthed in prayer and depict the spiritual aspects of these special days.
